Administration / Warehouse Officer

About the role

Sawyers Mining Services is seeking an Administration / Warehouse Officer to join our team in Scone, NSW. This is a full-time position that combines administrative and warehouse responsibilities, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of our business. You will be the backbone of our office and warehouse operations, ensuring that administrative processes run efficiently whilst maintaining an organised warehouse environment. This role is essential to supporting our mining services operations and enabling our team to deliver excellent service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Managing administrative tasks including data entry, filing, correspondence, scheduling and record keeping

• Processing , purchase orders and other financial documentation

• Coordinating warehouse inventory and stock management

• Receiving, storing and dispatching goods in line with company procedures

• Preparing shipping documentation and tracking orders

• Assisting with general administrative support across the business

• Liaising between office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

• Experience in an administrative or warehouse environment

• Physical capability to lift, carry and move items in a warehouse setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
