Senior Legal Counsel

Who we’re looking for

We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with commercial and front-end construction law experience.

Working closely with key stakeholders within our client's business, you’ll:

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including:

  • Consultancy agreements

  • Minor works contracts

  • Design & Construct (D&C) agreements

  • Major services contracts

• Provide practical legal advice across construction, infrastructure, marketing, safety and operational matters

• Support complex strategic projects and business initiatives

• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide commercially focused solutions

This role will suit a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business and can independently manage matters from instruction through to completion.

About You

In order to be suitable, you’ll:

• be an admitted lawyer with approximately 5-12 years' PQE

• have strong front-end drafting and contract negotiation experience

• have experience within construction, infrastructure, projects or engineering environments

• be able to operate autonomously and confidently manage negotiations

• be commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills
