About the role:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in Town / Urban Planning or other related field.
• Sound working knowledge of town planning concepts, urban design principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated job related experience in an appropriate related field. • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Computer literacy and excellent report writing skills. 
• Effective analytical and innovative problem solving skills and a highly developed ability to interpret relevant legislation. 
• Highly developed skills to implement and monitor procedures/processes and policies affecting the section.
• Current class C Driver Licence.
