About the role:
We are seeking a motivated planning professional with knowledge of the NSW planning system, an understanding of the development application process, and a sound grasp of town planning principles to join our Development Assessment team.
In this role, you will help shape sustainable and vibrant communities by delivering high-quality planning outcomes and applying relevant legislation, policies, standards and codes. You will assess development applications, support timely and balanced planning decisions, and contribute to the creation of well-connected, safe and desirable places. The role also involves building strong relationships with the community, developers, government agencies and internal stakeholders, while supporting effective communication and collaboration across the City Planning and Environment division.
