Enrolled Nurse - Gynaecology, Plastics and Urology

About the role

Mater Private Health Brisbane (MPHB) has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join the Gynaecology, Plastics and Urology (10 East) team. This position will be offered on a permanent basis, working 38 hours per week.

The 10 East Surgical Unit specialises in Gynaecology, Plastics, Urology, ENT. This team delivers a high level of specialised care to patients, their families and visitors via a supportive team who takes pride in providing the highest level of patient care. The team is supportive, approachable, patient focused and provides excellent training and development opportunities.

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

Whilst displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:

• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
• Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment
• Demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge in the care of surgical patients

About you

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
• Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
• Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
• Understanding of the Mater mission and values and the ability to engage others in living these values in 10 East
