NDIS Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our team, on a casual but permanent basis.

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing individualised care and support to our participants in Rockhampton and surroundings, supporting our participants with physical, intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals

You are resilient, compassionate, and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional person-centered care.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Disability or similar
• Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Current Working with Children’s and NDIS workers checks (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• A strong understanding of person-centred active support and inclusion principles
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to build supportive relationships with participants, families and colleagues
• Experience in disability support, including daily living assistance, behaviour support strategies and community participation
• The ability to maintain accurate records, follow policies, uphold boundaries and contribute to a safe, empowering environment
• Flexibility to work a mix of day, afternoon, weekend and sleepover shifts
• Confident using basic technology (Microsoft Teams, email, mobile apps)
