Automotive mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at rathore business pty ltd' in Woodville West, SA. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are running safely and efficiently.

Candidates must have experience working primarily on light commercial vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

• Test vehicle systems and components to identify problems

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to analyse and resolve vehicle issues

• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

• Provide excellent customer service and advise customers on recommended repairs

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

• Minimum 3 year experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership setting

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's licence

• Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation is required for this position
