About the role
Microsoft Power Platform & Azure Solution Architect-Canberra We are seeking a senior Microsoft Power Platform & Azure Solution Architect to establish reusable architecture patterns and provide end-to-end technical leadership across a major application modernisation program. You must be comfortable deciding when Power Platform is appropriate, when Azure PaaS/pro-code is appropriate, and when a hybrid architecture provides the best outcome. Key responsibilities Own end-to-end solution architecture and technical direction.Establish reusable low-code and pro-code architecture patterns.Assess legacy/current workloads and recommend target treatments.Design application, data, integration, identity and security architecture.Design solutions across Power Platform and Azure PaaS.Define reusable application and integration patterns.Lead architecture and security design assurance.Guide Access DB, SharePoint and legacy application modernisation.Provide technical leadership across developers and platform engineers.Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable and avoid new technical debt.Support architecture evidence and milestone acceptance.
Essential skills Microsoft Power Platform architecture.Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate.Dataverse.Azure PaaS.Azure SQL / Azure Data Services.Azure Integration Services and API patterns.Microsoft Entra ID.Azure DevOps and DevSecOps.IaC/CaC understanding.Enterprise application and security architecture.Production architecture/design assurance experience.
Highly regarded Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI capability.AI-assisted application engineering.Azure Landing Zone / CAF.Power BI.Federal Government architecture.Service-provider/SI experience owning technical outcomes.
