At Astris PME, we provide specialised mobility and assistive equipment that helps people live more independently. Our workshop team plays a key role in assembling, repairing, and customising equipment that makes a real difference every day.

This is a varied, hands-on workshop role where no two days are the same. You’ll assemble new equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and customise solutions to meet client needs.

If you enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and building things, this role is for you.

• Assemble, repair, and customise mobility and assistive equipment

• Prepare equipment for client trials and demonstrations

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard

• Modify and adjust equipment to suit individual client needs

• Clean, sanitise, charge, and maintain returned equipment

• Keep the workshop organised, safe, and well-presented

• Work closely with sales and operations teams

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or hands-on technical background who enjoys working with their hands. You’ll bring:

• Experience in assembly, mechanical repairs, or workshop environments (e.g. automotive, bikes, equipment, or similar)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Pride in producing high-quality, reliable work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills

• Current driver’s licence

• Hands-on, varied work
