We’re currently seeking experienced and motivated Underground Mining Engineers/Senior Mining Engineers to join our high-performing team. The Role

As an Underground Mining Engineer/Senior Mining Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting our clients onsite & remotely to provide operations support & improvements

• Developing/reviewing daily, weekly & monthly mine plans using Deswik & Microsoft Excel

• Creating/reviewing drill & blast designs using Deswik UDGB including best practice optimisation

• Identifying/implementing productivity & business improvement initiatives to our clients

• Providing technical support to mine operations teams & inspections of underground workings

• Generating/reviewing production & compliance reports over daily/weekly/monthly horizons

What We’re Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline

• Proven experience with Deswik CAD, UDGB &/or IS (essential)

• Minimum of 3+ years underground mining experience

• Proficient in drill and blast design/optimisation

• Proficient in daily/weekly/monthly mine planning

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Uncompromising commitment to safety

• Current manual driver's licence

• First Class Mine Manager’s ticket (preferred but not essential)

• Full Australian working rights (please do not apply without this)
