Level 1 Support Technician

About the role

Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious IT professional looking to join a dynamic and growing IT company? PC Computing & Consulting is seeking a Level 1 Support Technician to join our team in Osborne Park, WA. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in providing excellent IT support and troubleshooting to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Respond to and resolve incoming support requests from clients via phone, email or in-person

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing first-line technical support

3. Install, configure and maintain computer systems, networks and peripheral devices

4. Document and maintain detailed records of all support activities and resolutions

5. Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT specialists as needed

6. Provide ongoing training and guidance to end-users on software applications and IT systems

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support processes and procedures

What we're looking for

1. 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role

2. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, and common business software

3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically

4. Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills

5. Willingness to learn new technologies and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends

6. Relevant technical certification (e.g. A+, Network+) is preferred

7. National Police Clearance must be obtained within 30 days of commencement
