Centre Director

Are you an experienced early childhood leader ready to make a genuine impact? We are seeking an inspiring and motivated Centre Director to lead our beautiful service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who thrives on building strong teams, maintaining exceptional quality, and creating a welcoming environment where children, families and educators flourish.

You'll be supported by an experienced Area Manager and a collaborative leadership team, giving you the autonomy to lead your centre while having the support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the service as Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor.

• Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing team of educators.

• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

• Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community.

• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and all relevant legislation.

• Drive continuous quality improvement and work towards Exceeding outcomes.

• Oversee staffing, rosters, occupancy, enrolments and centre performance.

• Maintain a safe, engaging and high-quality learning environment for every child.

• Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to achieve operational and educational goals.

About You

To be successful you will have:

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

• Previous experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director or experienced Educational Leader ready to step into a leadership role.

• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• A passion for building positive team culture and delivering high-quality education and care.
