Location: The Cray Seafood and Grill Restaurant, Gooseberry Hill.

Position Overview

As part of our Front of House team, you’ll be the face of our restaurant — welcoming guests, recommending menu items, managing reservations, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. Your professionalism, communication skills, and teamwork will help maintain the high standards our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
• Provide menu recommendations and take orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality presentation.
• Manage reservations and handle customer inquiries (in-person, phone, and online).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle payments and deliver receipts accurately.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment providing exceptional service.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• RSA certification (or willingness to obtain).
