Commercial Housekeepers – Multiple Positions

About the role

Luxora Hotels and Management Pty. Ltd. is seeking multiple experienced and reliable Commercial Housekeepers to clean and prepare hotel guest rooms and public areas to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare hotel guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas.

• Strip beds, change linen and make beds to hotel standards.

• Sweep, mop and polish floors.

• Vacuum carpets, curtains and upholstered furniture.

• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings.

• Clean and disinfect showers, toilets, basins and bathroom surfaces.

• Clean mirrors, windows and other glass surfaces.

• Empty rubbish bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.

• Replace towels, toiletries, guest amenities and other room supplies.

• Restock minibars where required.

About you

• At least one year of relevant hotel or commercial housekeeping experience.

• Experience cleaning and preparing hotel or motel guest rooms.

• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling.

• Good attention to detail and time-management skills.

• The ability to meet daily room-cleaning targets without compromising quality.

• The physical ability to lift linen, push housekeeping trolleys, bend and remain standing for extended periods.

• Availability for rostered work, including mornings, weekends and public holidays.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.

• A relevant cleaning or hospitality qualification (desirable).

• Previous experience in a comparable hotel or resort (desirable).
