We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Dandenong South. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive team that delivers value and first-class service to both internal and external customers through strong product knowledge, technical support and an exceptional service mindset.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, interdisciplinary role spanning sales, logistics, distribution, manufacturing and inventory management. The role involves coordinating detailed customer orders with a range of product, stock and delivery requirements, so accuracy and attention to detail are essential. 

To thrive, you’ll need excellent communication and relationship-building skills along with strong problem-solving capability and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process customer orders, quotes, product enquiries, account queries and credit returns
• Coordinate orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with sales, logistics, manufacturing and inventory teams
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of order progress, stock availability and potential delays
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell where appropriate
• Assist with stocktake activities and reconciliation of stock levels
• Support accurate inventory control in line with company policy
• Maintain accurate and current pricing
• Ensure timely administration and processing of customer orders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and products

About You

You will bring:

• Experience in a similar customer service or supply-chain role
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• A proactive approach, with strong follow-through and a focus on seeing tasks through to completion
• The initiative to identify what needs to be done and follow up without being prompted
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
• An inquisitive nature, with the confidence to ask questions and seek a thorough understanding
• Experience with Pronto (advantageous)
• Experience within the agriculture industry (highly regarded)
• A proactive approach to learning and building product knowledge
