Business Development Manager - Technology

MineARC Systems is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our GuardIAN Intelligence Network
across international markets. This role combines strategic sales, technical engagement and customer partnership to deliver integrated monitoring, tracking, communications and safety solutions in complex operating environments. You will work closely with major mining clients, MineARC's Sales, Engineering and Service teams, and technology partners to identify opportunities
 
The Role:
As MineARC's technology product champion, you will own the business development lifecycle—from prospecting and requirements discovery through
solution development, proposal preparation, implementation support and account growth. You will translate complex customer challenges into clear technical and commercial outcomes while building trusted, long-term relationships.

Responsibilities include: 

• Identify and develop opportunities within underground mining and tunnelling operations for the GuardIAN Intelligence Network
• Engage customers to understand operational requirements, analyse technical needs and articulate a compelling value proposition
• Prepare tailored proposals, scopes of supply, commercial submissions and project plans in collaboration with Sales and Engineering
• Manage strategic accounts and maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline from first engagement through to close and ongoing growth
• Lead customer presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions, independently and alongside regional Sales BDMs
• Coordinate multiple project timelines, ensuring agreed requirements, budgets and delivery milestones are achieved
• Support system installation, commissioning and implementation activities with MineARC's Service teams when required
• Act as the internal product champion for the GuardIAN Intelligence Network, sharing market insight and supporting product development priorities
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and MineARC offices to resolve customer technical queries and issues
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers and MineARC teams on product features, installation, diagnostics, implementation and fault finding
• Identify opportunities to expand software-enabled and recurring-revenue solutions across existing and new customer accounts

• Demonstrated business development or technical sales experience in mining, tunnelling, industrial technology or a related sector
• Strong commercial acumen and a record of developing opportunities, managing complex sales cycles and achieving growth targets
• Technical confidence, with the ability to translate operational requirements into practical, value-led solutions
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills across operational, technical and executive audiences
• Experience preparing scopes, proposals and project plans in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• A proactive, organised and outcomes-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• A willingness to travel to customer sites and support international opportunities as required
