Amrick is a leading provider of contract labour and trade services to the construction industry with over 15 years of industry experience, multiple awards for business growth, and long-standing membership with the Master Builders Association of Victoria. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking Qualified Carpenters and Trade Assistants to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

Amrick Labour Hire have a diverse range of construction sites including high-end residential townhouses and apartments, home renovations and extensions, educational facilities, retail and restaurant fit-outs, and various other residential and commercial construction projects across Victoria.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•  Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Examine plans and determine the necessary procedures and time frame required to complete tasks.

• Cut materials to specifications outlined in plans to erect frameworks and lay foundations.

• Assemble and cut wooden materials to form structures and fittings.

• Assemble concrete formwork.

• Undertake defect work to fix existing fittings.

• Work with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metal.

Requirements:

• Commitment, drive, a strong work ethic and pride in your work.

• Valid White card.

• Certificate III in Carpentry (Qualified Carpenter's only).

• Valid Police Check beneficial but not mandatory.

• Own transport is beneficial but not essential.

• Full PPE and tools kit.

• Working With Childrens check beneficial but not mandatory.

• Additional tickets (EWP, Working at Heights, ect) beneficial but not mandatory.
  

Job/Package:

• On-going work and the view of working across various types of projects as well as various stages.

• Overtime penalty rates.

• Weekly pay cycle.
