About Opportunity
As Manager, Environmental and Sustainability, you'll guide all environmental and sustainability activities on a regional project, reporting to the Project Director. You'll set the strategic direction for environmental protection, sustainability performance, climate and resource management, and regulatory compliance through design, construction, commissioning and handover, working closely with construction, engineering, procurement, land access and stakeholder teams.

Key AccountabilitiesDirect all environmental and sustainability functions across the projectSet governance for environmental and sustainability management to Builder PSDREnsure compliance with approvals, EPRs and legislationOversee the Construction Environmental Management Plan and sub-plansDrive the Sustainability Management Plan and initiativesMonitor and report on performance, targets and KPIsManage environmental and sustainability risk, incidents and auditsRequired SkillsTertiary qualification in environmental science or engineeringExperience managing environmental/sustainability on major projectsStrong knowledge of approvals, EPRs and legislationExperience managing sustainability initiatives and reportingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLocation and conditions
This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
