Financial Accountant - Transformation

Position Overview

We’re looking for two Financial Accountants - Transformation to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major finance transformation and ERP implementation, while continuing to apply your accounting expertise across core financial activities. You’ll work closely with Finance, IT and external partners to improve processes, support the implementation of our new ERP system and deliver accurate and effective financial reporting. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes and working with systems, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact across the Finance function.

What you'll do

• Support the ERP implementation and finance transformation, acting as a key Finance representative.
• Work with Finance, Technology and business teams to design and improve finance processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, standardisation and ways of working.
• Support data migration, system testing, validation and implementation activities.
• Help identify and resolve process, reporting and control gaps.
• Support change management, documentation and training for new systems and processes.
• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end close, as well as audit and statutory reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls, data accuracy and accounting standards.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across Finance.
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, month-end and reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance process improvement.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with data migration, system testing or UAT is highly regarded.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is highly regarded.
