Commis Chef

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Head Chef and other senior kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking and presentation and people management.
• Following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent high-quality dishes
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for customers
• Developing your skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines

What we're looking for

• Completed certificate or diploma in commercial cookery or equivalent culinary training
• Some previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong focus on food safety and hygiene
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop your culinary abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
