Perth FIFO 8:6 & 2:1 Rosters, 12 hour days
$110 - $130/hr + Super on All Site Hours (depending on experience) + Travel
Multiple project opportunities across WA up to 6 months
 
Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering and automation specialist to recruit experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisors for multiple FIFO projects across Western Australia.
With a strong pipeline of work across major mining and industrial sites, these roles offer excellent hourly rates, paid travel, varied rosters and project durations of up to 6 months. Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.
 
What will this position involve?
As part of the commissioning team, you'll be responsible for leading Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
 
Your duties will include:

• Leading Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning teams across site
• Coordinating commissioning activities and schedules
• Reviewing and completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
• Conducting inspections and resolving technical issues
• Reviewing and approving JHAs
• Liaising with construction teams, vendors and client representatives

What do you need to be successful?
To be successful, you will have:

• Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
• Cert IV in Instrumentation
• Schedule 26
• Current LVR/CPR
• WA White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
