Freight & Logistics Coordinator (Training Provided)

Are you an organised and practical person who enjoys keeping things running smoothly?

We're looking for a reliable Freight & Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our Park Ridge facility.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our warehouse, manufacturing, sales and customer service teams to help coordinate freight, stock movements, customer deliveries and warehouse operations.

You don't need previous experience with our products or systems. We'll provide structured training and ongoing support to help you become confident in the role.

About the role

This is a hands-on administration role based within our warehouse and manufacturing facility.

It would suit someone with experience in warehouse administration, freight, despatch, transport administration, stock control, customer service or a similar practical administration role.

You'll be trained in our products, freight systems and warehouse operations before progressively taking responsibility for coordinating freight bookings, customer deliveries, stock movements and communication across the business.

The person currently performing this role is moving into another position within our company, allowing for a structured handover and comprehensive training.

What you will be doing day to day

You will be trained and supported to:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements

• Book, schedule and monitor freight providers

• Prepare freight documentation including manifests and consignment notes

• Track deliveries and follow up delays, shortages or damaged freight

• Work with warehouse staff to ensure orders are ready for dispatch

• Process dispatch documentation accurately and on time

• Assist with stock transfers and stock adjustments

• Participate in weekly stock counts

• Investigate stock discrepancies

• Coordinate stock movements between our warehouse, external warehouse partners and consignment stock locations

• Assist with local deliveries and internal stock movements

• Prepare customer quotations when required

• Process customer payments for payment-before-dispatch orders

• Maintain accurate customer records

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, freight providers and internal departments

• Identify practical improvements to freight efficiency, stock accuracy and customer service

• Freight or transport administration

• Warehouse administration

• Dispatch or order processing

• Stock control or inventory administration

• Customer service

• Manufacturing, wholesale distribution or building products

• ERP, inventory or warehouse management systems
