Integration Engineer | Level 2

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Integration Engineer Level 2 to join our Engineering team and help connect the systems that drive our business. From ERP and eCommerce platforms to finance, merchandising and customer systems, you'll design, build and optimise scalable integrations that enable seamless data flow across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies including Boomi Enterprise, Azure Integration Services, SQL Server and DevOps tooling while contributing to a growing integration platform supporting a large omni-channel retail business.

About The Role

Design, develop and maintain enterprise integrations across multiple business applicationsBuild scalable, reliable and secure integration solutions using the Boomi Enterprise PlatformDevelop and optimise SQL Server databases, stored procedures and queries for high-performance integrationsDesign and manage REST APIs and middleware solutionsImplement cloud integration patterns using Azure Integration Services, including APIM and Service BusBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git and GitHub ActionsEnsure integrations meet security, privacy and governance standardsCollaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Project Managers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsSupport production releases, incident resolution and continuous platform improvement

About You

3+ years' experience in integration engineering, middleware or software engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Boomi Enterprise Platform – EssentialAdvanced SQL Server and T-SQL development skillsExperience with Azure Integration Services including API Management and Service BusExperience designing REST APIs and integration architecturesKnowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, Git and GitHub Actions.Understanding of event-driven architectures and modern integration patternsExperience working in Agile delivery teamsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBoomi and Azure certifications will be highly regarded
