About the role
The Operational Duty Officer monitors the day-to-day performance of Victoria’s road and public transport networks, responding to planned and unplanned incidents, emergencies and disruptions. The role identifies emerging issues, coordinates responses and communicates timely information to emergency services, transport operators and stakeholders to maintain safe and reliable services.
The role provides 24/7 operational oversight, including during major events, infrastructure works and service changes. It uses operational and incident data to identify trends, improve performance and support better customer outcomes. The position works rostered shifts in a fast-paced environment and ensures responses meet DTP protocols, legislative requirements and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
