About the Role
Bolton Clarke is seeking a Quality and Risk Specialist to support the delivery of safe, high‑quality care across our residential aged care homes.
Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in auditing, investigation, analysis and reporting activities to identify risks and drive continuous improvement. You will partner closely with operational and clinical teams to strengthen compliance with Bolton Clarke’s Quality Management System and relevant Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) standards.
This is an impactful opportunity to contribute to clinical governance, influence quality outcomes and support homes in delivering person‑centred, compliant and sustainable care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits and investigations into incidents, complaints and compliance risks
Identify gaps, analyse findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve quality and safety outcomes
Partner with operational leaders and home teams to build capability in clinical governance and compliance
Support the development and implementation of Plans for Continuous Improvement
Monitor risk indicators and identify emerging risks across services
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive reviews
Provide support during ACQSC and NDIS audits, including on-site or remote assistance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards and quality frameworks
About You
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Demonstrated experience in clinical governance within aged care or a similar regulated environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving and investigation skills
Experience conducting audits, incident reviews or quality assessments
Highly developed communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement capability
Ability to translate insights into practical improvement actions
Sound understanding of Aged Care standards, legislation and compliance frameworks
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple sites and stakeholders
