About the Role

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Concrete Loader Driver to join our team in the Mackay region.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to operate a front-end loader and assist with the day-to-day operations of our concrete plant.

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to learn concrete batching and develop additional skills within the business.

Key Responsibilities

·         Safely operate a front-end loader.

·         Load and handle raw materials.

·         General yard and plant housekeeping.

·         Assist with plant maintenance.

·         Assist with concrete production and batching.

·         Assist with booking and allocating concrete deliveries.

·         Coordinate truck movements and deliveries.

·         Provide friendly and professional customer service.

·         Work effectively as part of a team.

·         Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

·         Has front-end loader experience preferred.

·         Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.

·         Has a positive “can-do” attitude.

·         Is willing to learn and develop new skills.

·         Has good communication and customer service skills.

·         Can multitask and make effective decisions under pressure.

·         Works well independently and as part of a team.

·         Is willing to work flexible hours and reasonable overtime.

·         Has a strong commitment to safety.

·         Previous concrete, batching or plant experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right applicant.
