About the role

The Administrative Officer plays an important role in supporting the smooth and effective operation of the SA Medical Imaging department. Providing efficient, professional and welcoming administrative support across all modalities, you will help ensure patients receive a positive experience from the moment they arrive. As a key member of the team, you will manage a range of administrative tasks while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, organisation and service.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will bring a warm, friendly and professional approach to every interaction. You will also build positive working relationships across the department, with other areas of the organisation, patients and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted communication link. About You

We’re looking for a compassionate, capable and adaptable administrative professional who is committed to delivering a high standard of service in a busy healthcare environment.

• Strong communicator: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, colleagues and stakeholders, using tact, discretion and sound judgement.
• Organised and adaptable: Manage competing priorities, work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines and respond positively to change.
• Experienced in healthcare administration: Bring frontline administrative experience, strong data and records management skills, and confidence using patient management or electronic medical record systems.
