About the Opportunity

We are seeking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Warehouse Assistant (25-30 hours per week) to join our Parts team in Jandakot, WA.

In this practical and hands-on role, you will support the Parts & Customer Service team for receiving, storing, organising, picking, packing, and dispatching parts accurately and on time. You'll help maintain inventory accuracy, keep the warehouse running efficiently, and contribute to delivering excellent service to our customers. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, label and correctly store incoming parts and deliveries

• Accurately pick parts against customer orders and instructions

• Pack, label and dispatch parts safely and within required timeframes

• Arrange courier and freight collections

• Maintain accurate stock locations and assist with stocktakes and stock checks

• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged or incorrect deliveries, and stock shortages

• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements

• Assist with loading, unloading and safely moving stock within the warehouse and yard

• Maintain accurate receiving, stock and dispatch records and provide updates to the Parts & Customer Service team

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse, stores and yard in accordance with  HSEQ requirements

About You

You will be a dependable team player who takes pride in maintaining accurate stock, completing tasks efficiently and keeping the workplace safe and organised.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in a parts, stores, warehouse, logistics or dispatch environment is desirable but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• The ability to safely handle and move parts and deliveries

• Good communication and organisational skills

• A reliable, responsible and practical approach to work

• The ability to work effectively both independently and effectively as part of a team

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise work to meet deadlines

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• A current unrestricted open driver licence

• A current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one

• A current first Aid certification, or willingness to obtain one

• Experience with spare parts, inventory systems, freight/courier processes or stock control will be highly regarded.
