Business Analytics & Strategy Manager

We are looking for a highly commercial and analytically minded Business Analytics & Strategy Manager to join our Paper & Clean Energy leadership team at Visy. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen the business's strategic planning, forecasting and commercial modelling capability.

You'll work closely with senior finance, operational and commercial leaders, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive performance, investment decisions and long-term growth.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the 5-Year Strategic Plan and 18-month rolling forecast process across the Paper & Clean Energy business
• Build and enhance forecasting, scenario and financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Deliver commercial insights through profitability, customer, market and performance analysis
• Partner with finance, operations and commercial leaders to evaluate growth, cost optimisation and capital projects
• Identify business risks and opportunities, translating complex data into clear recommendations
• Present strategic insights and outcomes to senior leaders and executive stakeholders

What you will bring:

• Degree-qualified in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline
• 5+ years' experience in business analytics, strategic finance, commercial finance, FP&A or consulting
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive engagement
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or other complex operational environments, with exposure to Power BI and ERP systems highly regarded
