Navorina is a 60-bed high care facility with a dedicated memory care (dementia) wing.

Our facility was built by the community for the community and takes pride in its ability to provide modern, evidence-based, responsive care within a rural and regional setting.

We are seeking a motivated Assistants in Nursing to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and other care staff to provide high-quality, person-centered care for our residents.

No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.

• Provide nutrition assistance such as meal preparation and feeding support.

• Monitor and record resident health and wellbeing under the guidance of Registered Nurses.

• Support residents’ participation in activities that promote social, mental, and physical wellbeing.

• Communicate effectively with the care team to maintain high standards of care.

Skills and Experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) preferred but not required, training available for the right candidate

• A caring, reliable, and friendly attitude with a genuine passion for supporting older people

• Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance from Registered Nurses and supervisors

• Strong communication skills and a respectful, empathetic demeanor
