Coretel Group Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned telecommunications infrastructure contractor delivering rigging, civil construction, integration (RF & Tx) and structure upgrades and decommissioning to prime contractors and carriers nationwide. Based in Narangba QLD, we run two director-led delivery teams and work across the Telstra, Optus, TPG, NBN, Amplitel and Indara networks.

The role — Telecommunications Field Engineer (Integration + Structural)

We're growing and need an experienced Telecommunications Field Engineer to lead site integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance across our national project pipeline. This is a hands-on technical role — you'll run integration works on greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations, with rigging tickets and structural know-how alongside your RF and Tx experience.

What you'll do

- Deliver RF and transmission (Tx) integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance on greenfield and brownfield telco sites.

- Install and commission antennas, RUs, feeders, microwave dishes and outdoor cabinets.

- Support structural rigging works when needed — extensions, face frames, upgrades — alongside our rigging crew.

- Produce carrier acceptance packs to Telstra / Optus / NBN / Amplitel / Indara standard.

- Run the job safely to Coretel's or our clients HSE system — SWMS, permits, exclusion zones, rescue plans.

- Mobilise nationally to remote and metro sites.

What we're after

- Proven telco Field Engineer experience — RF and Tx integration, commissioning, carrier acceptance packs.

- Rigging ticket (Advanced or Intermediate) — used regularly on our jobs.

- EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid current.

- Structural steelwork experience on telco towers.

- Comfortable travelling to remote sites and mobilising at short notice.

- Open QLD driver's licence; MR/HR and other tickets a bonus.
