QHSE Coordinator

At Summit Tower Hire, safety isn't just a compliance requirement—it's at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a proactive and organised QHSE Coordinator to take ownership of our QHSE systems, support our operational teams, and help drive a strong safety culture across the business.

As our QHSE Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations remain safe, compliant and well organised. Working closely with our operational teams, project managers and customers, you'll:

• Coordinate and manage employee onboarding, site inductions and customer-specific compliance requirements.

• Ensure all staff complete required inductions, licences, training and competency records before commencing work.

• Maintain QHSE documentation including policies, procedures, SWMS, risk assessments and compliance registers.

• Coordinate internal and external ISO audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct site inspections, compliance audits and customer site visits across multiple locations.

• Investigate incidents, hazards and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings and workforce training.

• Support project managers with client onboarding, contractor management systems and project compliance documentation.

• Monitor compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and operational standards.

• Assist with WorkCover and Return-to-Work coordination where required.

• Prepare regular QHSE reports and provide guidance to managers on safety and compliance matters.

• Previous experience in a QHSE, WHS or Safety Coordinator role (2+ years preferred).

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and keep compliance activities on track.

• Experience managing employee inductions, training records or compliance documentation is highly regarded.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently.

• Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or similar) is desirable.

• Experience with ISO Management Systems, ICAM investigations or construction, crane or EWP industries will be highly regarded.
