Larvotto Resources (LRV) is currently developing and forging ahead with the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project in Armidale, NSW. This is a unique opportunity to work within the mining industry and reside in the vibrant regional town of Armidale, renowned for its quality of life, educational institutions, and beautiful surroundings. Centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney, Armidale is just a short drive to the popular Coffs Harbour Coast.

LVR Hillgrove Mine project is now in development phase ramping up to production phase to begin shortly. With the refurbishing of the processing plant forging ahead we are now seeking experienced Process Technicians. As a member of our processing team, you will play a crucial role in the extraction and processing of valuable resources.

The Role

As a Plant Technician, reporting to the Process Supervisor, you will be responsible for the for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and monitoring of processing circuits to support consistent production, metallurgical performance, and safe working conditions.

This position is critical to maintaining production continuity, process stability, and safe gold processing operations within a high-risk processing environment. This is a hands-on position, with an emphasis on safety, good communication and an opportunity to operate a range of mineral extraction processes.

Roles will be on Residential only basis (relocation assistance provided).

Roster – 7 days on/7 days off, 7 nights on/7 nights off (7/7 D/N)

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Operate the plant and optimise plant performance within established operating parameters.
• Report any faults or problems to the maintenance team and assist with maintenance activities as required.
• Undertake first level maintenance on equipment.
• Properly record all operating data and log relevant information.
• Undertake sampling and interpret assay results to optimise plant performance.
• Assist the plant metallurgist to test, trial and improve plant performance.
• Perform troubleshooting to help identify and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to operating procedures, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience operating processing circuits in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments
• Understanding of processing flows, equipment operation, and basic metallurgical principles
• Ability to follow operating procedures and respond effectively to changing processing conditions
• Strong safety awareness and situational awareness

Tickets and Licensing

Mandatory

• Valid Australian Manual Driver’s License (required).

Highly Desirable

• First Aid Certificate/CPR Qualification
• Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing
• EWP
• Working at Heights
• HR Drivers Licence
• Front End Loader, Bob cat, Forklift
• Telehandler

Other Requirements

• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
