Tara Treasures is growing, and we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Picker/Packer & Warehouse Assistant to join our warehouse team.
We design beautiful, ethical, Fair Trade-certified felt toys that are designed in Melbourne and handcrafted by skilled artisans in Nepal.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on warehouse role involving both order fulfilment and product preparation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing eCommerce and wholesale orders accurately
Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
Kitting and pre-packing products
Tagging, labelling and applying stickers to products
Folding and assembling packaging and boxes
Conducting basic product quality checks
Assisting with stock counts and inventory tasks
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
A significant part of the role involves repetitive hands-on work, so you should be comfortable performing tasks such as tagging, labelling, packing and assembling packaging while maintaining a consistent pace and high level of accuracy.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
Accurate with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working at a fast and consistent pace
Positive, hardworking and willing to help the team
Able to follow instructions and warehouse processes
Comfortable working independently when required
Confident using basic computers, tablets and warehouse systems
Comfortable standing, walking, bending and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day
Able to safely lift and carry cartons weighing up to approximately 15 kg
Able to reliably travel to our warehouse in Braeside
Previous warehouse, pick/pack, dispatch, retail replenishment or similar experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and work ethic are just as important to us.
This role suits someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands and takes pride in getting every order right.
