As a Recruitment Partner at Youth Projects, you’ll build and maintain relationships with local employers, create meaningful job opportunities and connect young people with employment pathways that change lives.

The focus here is on developing high-value employment opportunities and working closely with our Youth Coaches to understand participants’ goals, strengths and circumstances, matching them to opportunities that support long-term success.

This isn’t a traditional employment services role focused on compliance or high-volume case management. Our Youth Coaches work alongside participants to address barriers and prepare them for employment, while you focus on building employer partnerships and creating sustainable pathways into work.

Every placement represents an opportunity to help a young person build confidence, independence and a brighter future.

Your day to day as a Recruitment Partner:

• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to create meaningful employment opportunities and repeat placement pathways.
• Develop long-term partnerships with businesses across your local community.
• Work collaboratively with Youth Coaches and Engagement staff to identify suitable employment opportunities for participants.
• Match, support and guide young people into employment, helping ensure successful and sustainable outcomes.
• Grow your employer network through outreach, business development, events and community engagement activities.
• Support employers throughout the recruitment and placement process to achieve positive outcomes for both businesses and participants.

Key requirements:

• Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Community Services, Career Development or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in employment services, recruitment, workforce development or a similar field.
• Experience within Employment Services, Recruitment, Mentoring, Workforce Development or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
