LOW LOADER AND SEMI TIPPER DRIVER

About the role

NCJ ADAMSON EARTHMOVING PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Low Loader and Semi Tipper Driver to join our transport and logistics team based in Margaret River, WA 6285. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment and materials across various job sites. As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining both low loader and semi tipper vehicles, contributing directly to the success of our earthmoving and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate low loader and semi tipper vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

• Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to designated job sites and customers

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as required

• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring appropriate securing and weight distribution

• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery documentation

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving standards

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site managers, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent NCJ ADAMSON EARTHMOVING PTY LTD positively at all times

What we're looking for

• Current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's license, with Multi-Combination (MC) license being highly desirable

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating low loader and/or semi tipper vehicles in the road transport or earthmoving industry

• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety systems, load securing, and weight distribution requirements

• Proven experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance procedures

• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to road rules

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks such as loading and unloading cargo

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

• Knowledge of local roads and routes in Western Australia is advantageous

• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
