Morning Shift Forklift Drivers – Transport

We are currently looking for experienced Transport Forklift Drivers to join our client’s busy transport and warehouse operation based in Wetherill Park.

About the role:

• Operating an LF forklift to load and unload trucks

• Moving and organising freight within the warehouse and yard

• Loading and preparing freight for dispatch

• Strapping and securing loads

• Applying load restraint to ensure freight is safely secured for transport

• Open and close truck curtains, remove and replace gates

• Checking freight is safely positioned and secured before dispatch

• General warehouse and freight handling duties

• Manual handling and sorting of freight

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What we are looking for:

• Current LF forklift licence

• Previous forklift and warehouse experience

• Transport, freight or logistics experience highly regarded

• Previous experience with strapping and load restraint

• Good understanding of safe freight loading practices

• Comfortable with manual handling

• Reliable, punctual and safety focused

• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

• Full working rights in Australia
