Educational Leader & Preschool Room Leader (ECT)

Innovative Early Learning Kingsford is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our award-winning team as our Educational Leader & Preschool Room Leader.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an educator who is passionate about curriculum excellence, mentoring educators, and creating engaging learning environments where children can thrive.

As the Educational Leader and Preschool Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading our preschool program while supporting and mentoring the wider teaching team.

• Lead and inspire the preschool room team to deliver high-quality educational programs.

• Drive curriculum development and continuous improvement across the service.

• Implement and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF.

• Guide and mentor educators in planning, documentation, and reflective practice.

• Monitor children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community.

• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the centre's ongoing success.

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECT qualification).

• Current NESA Teacher Accreditation.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Early Childhood Education.

• Previous leadership experience as an Educational Leader, Room Leader, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and NQS.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.

• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).

• Experience using OWNA or similar digital documentation platforms.

• Experience supporting and mentoring early career educators.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45 - $52 per hour + superannuation
