This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026
East Wanneroo Primary School is an independent public school located in the northern suburbs of Perth. Nestled amongst gum trees and extensive, native flora, the school provides a beautiful, natural setting for local families, it has a country feel in a city setting. We pride ourselves on being a family orientated school and with around 350 students, our staff get to know every child and their family.
Our school provides a range of educational opportunities and experiences for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. It is our belief that it is the quality of the teaching and learning programs along with positive relationships, that has the greatest impact upon student performance.

The Role
The Library Officer administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and library and school resources are maintained and processed so they are always accessible and available to students and staff.
The successful applicant will ideally be a lover of books who is able to inspire students with a love of reading, create a welcoming atmosphere in the library and collaborate with other staff to promote reading throughout the school.
Experience with the following practices, systems and programs would be beneficial.
We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated individual who enjoys working with students, staff and families.
