We're opening an exciting new Vinnies Store in Grego Hills, and we're looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager who's ready to help launch a brand new store in Gregory Hills. It's your opportunity to help build an incredible team, create an amazing customer experience, and be part of something from the very beginning. Every sale helps fund programs supporting people experiencing hardship across NSW, so the impact you make extends far beyond the shop floor.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead a passionate team of employees and volunteers, drive sales, oversee stock sorting and pricing across our furniture, electrical, homewares and fashion departments, and create a fun, engaging store culture where every customer leaves wanting to come back. If you have experience as a 2IC or team leader in a retail environment, your leadership experience will support you in hitting the ground running from day one.

• Working closely with the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day running of the store.
• Leading the store in the Store Manager's absence, including supervising employees and volunteers and handling customer complaints.
• Inspiring, coaching and developing a diverse team of employees and volunteers.
• Creating an exceptional shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
• Driving sales, achieving KPIs and contributing to the store's commercial success.
• Monitoring budgets and helping deliver strong financial performance.
• Overseeing stock intake, sorting, pricing and rotation across bulky goods and fashion departments.
• Maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards throughout the store.
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, volunteers and team members.
• Supporting the consistent implementation of store policies and operational procedures.

• Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience (2IC or team leader level).
• A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• A passion for coaching, motivating and developing others, including volunteers.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working with budgets and commercial targets.
• A positive attitude, plenty of initiative and a genuine passion for customer service.
• The ability to build an engaged, high-performing team.
