As a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for all aspects of planting and grounds maintenance across multiple sites, while leading your team to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency. Our expected wage for this role is $37.00 - $42.00 per hour.

As a key leader, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise in best horticultural practices, safety protocols, and landscaping equipment will play a critical role in the success of our maintenance projects. Your ability to mentor and guide team members will contribute to ongoing project excellence.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• Have a Cert III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (desirable)
• Hold a Construction White Card (mandatory)
• Hold certifications in Working from Heights or Rope Access, showcasing commitment to safety and versatility

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead and manage a team to ensure high-quality work and efficient project execution.
• Collaborate closely with the National Maintenance Manager to deliver exceptional service to clients
• Ensure all projects are completed safely and in line with company safety protocols
• Oversee on-site landscape management, from formal gardens to parks and open spaces
• Diagnose and treat plant deficiencies, pest issues, and diseases
• Manage irrigation systems, including programming and maintenance
• Complete all necessary documentation and reporting in a timely manner
• Utilise machinery and hand tools for mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and landscape maintenance
