Senior Health Promotion Officer

This is a Permanent Part-Time appointment at 30.4 hours per fortnight.

What is our Senior Health Promotion Officer role?

This position works collaboratively within the Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC) and with other services to plan, implement and evaluate state-wide initiatives to promote SARC services and disseminate information relevant to trauma and sexual violence; and to form partnerships with other organisations to assist in the implementation of strategic priorities and key functions of the SARC. This role will also coordinate the Consumer Advocacy Committee for SARC.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service or the wider public service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
