With Express Paint continuing to grow from strength to strength, we are looking for an experienced Paint Supervisor to join our team in Townsville, with multiple upcoming projects and immediate starts available.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced supervisor who is confident managing large painting crews, coordinating day-to-day works and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will play an important role in leading our painters on site, maintaining quality and productivity, and working closely with our management team and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead large painting crews on commercial and other projects

• Coordinate daily tasks, labour and site activities

• Ensure painting works are completed to a high standard

• Monitor productivity, quality and project timeframes

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site requirements

• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers and the Express Paint management team

• Assist with planning materials, equipment and labour requirements

• Lead by example and maintain a positive team culture

• Identify and resolve issues on site efficiently

About you

• Proven experience as a Paint Supervisor or leading large painting crews

• Strong knowledge of painting and decorating processes

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent industry experience

• Previous experience working on commercial projects is highly regarded

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage a team and keep projects on track

• Your own reliable car/transport and basic tools

• Full working rights in Australia

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
