Apprentice Boilermaker

About the role

This full-time Apprentice Boilermaker role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and develop your skills within a respected engineering and fabrication company based in Mudgee, New South Wales. As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to become a skilled tradesperson in this dynamic industry with International standard accreditations.

What you'll be doing

• Undertaking a 4-year boilermaking apprenticeship program to gain comprehensive skills and knowledge in welding, metal fabrication, and machinery assembly

• Working closely with experienced boilermakers and tradespeople to fabricate and repair a variety of metal products, equipment, and structures

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to complete projects to a high standard

• Utilising a range of welding and fabrication equipment, including GMAW, GTAW, and MMAW welding machines

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following established procedures and safety protocols

• Participating in ongoing training and development to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

• Mix of site and workshop-based work

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in engineering and fabrication

• Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety guidelines

• Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development
