Fitter & Installer

About the role

Southwell Lifts & Hoists are seeking an in-field qualified installer to join our growing team. We produce high-quality equipment proudly manufactured in Narellan, NSW, and install and service our products across Australia and New Zealand. Some travel interstate will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble hoists, lifts and associated equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements

• Complete installation processes and procedures as required

• Interpret and work from engineering and installation drawings

• Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and quality requirements

• Work safely on customer sites and comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Document all work performed and complete required paperwork

• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in good working condition

• Liaise professionally with supervisors, team members and customers

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area

About you

• Driver's licence

• Forklift licence

• White Card

• Working at Heights - preferred

• EWP - preferred

• Experience installing mechanical equipment, machinery, hoists, lifts or similar equipment

• Proficient in reading engineering and installation drawings

• Good mechanical aptitude and some fabrication knowledge

• Ability to work under direction from a supervisor

• Strong attention to detail
