Duty Manager | Sundowner Hotel & Motel | QLD

Sundowner Hotel & Motel is looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our team in Caboolture.
 

As a key member of the venue leadership team, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of the venue. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing strong teams.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during day and evening shifts
• Deliver outstanding customer service and guest experiences
• Oversee gaming, bar, bistro and venue operations
• Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming and venue procedures
• Assist with staff supervision, cash handling and shift management
• Support the Venue Manager in maintaining high operational standards
• Foster a positive team culture and lead by example
 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (QLD)
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on approach and passion for hospitality
• The ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
• Experience working in gaming, bar and food & beverage environments is highly regarded
