Servicenow Developer

We are seeking experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultants to support a large-scale government technology transformation initiative.
This role is suited to hands-on ServiceNow professionals who enjoy delivering practical solutions and working directly within the platform. You will be responsible for configuring, developing, testing and deploying ServiceNow capabilities across a complex enterprise environment.You will work closely with business analysts, architects, platform teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, develop and maintain ServiceNow platform functionality.Build and enhance workflows, approvals, forms and service catalogue items.Configure and support ITSM processes and related platform capabilities.Develop automation and scripting solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow development tools.Design and support integrations with internal and external systems.Develop reports, dashboards and analytics capabilities.Support ITAM, ITOM and CMDB initiatives.Troubleshoot and resolve technical platform issues.Support release, deployment and environment management activities.Promote ServiceNow best practice, favouring configuration over customisation where appropriate.
Skills & ExperienceWe're interested in candidates with:Strong hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.Experience delivering ITSM solutions.ServiceNow Flow Designer and workflow automation expertise.JavaScript development skills.Experience building and supporting integrations and APIs.Knowledge of CMDB, ITAM and ITOM capabilities.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience working in complex enterprise or government environments.Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with stakeholders.
Desirable CertificationsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)ServiceNow Implementation Certifications (ITSM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, etc.)ITIL Foundation
