About the role:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. Candidate should be available to work across our weekday and weekend services.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/families
• Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech pathologists to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
   

Essential Criteria:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or demonstrate a basic understanding of therapy programs
• hospital experience is essential
