Qualifications & experience

• 2 + years’ experience in the Horticulture/Gardening industry (desirable but not essential)

• Current unrestricted drivers’ licence

• Do you want to work towards a Qualification in Horticulture?  Can do a Cert III in Parks and Gardens if you would like? That is a possibility - just ask.

• Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial landscape maintenance equipment.

• The ability to encourage team members to work effectively together.

• Good time management and communication skills

• Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.

• The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace

• A desire to provide a high quality commercial maintenance service

• Police check to be carried out prior to commencing

Tasks & responsibilities

• Work within the team on a run starting and finishing in Sutherland area

• Can arrange to be picked up at a meet up point and then be driven around by company vehicle (so no additional costs to you)

• Tasks mainly involve Mowing (both ride on and push mowing), Whipper Snipping etc

• Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site

• Take pride in producing high quality work

• Regularly liaising with the Team Leader.

• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.

• Role is run based, working with the team to ensure targets are met.

• Involves working on a variety of landscapes onsite.
