Casual Thai Cook (Wok Cooking Prefered)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Thai Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team on a Casual Basis (2-3 nights a week). The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the standard of authentic Thai cuisine and ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes on the displayed menu
• Manage and coordinate food preparation and kitchen operations during service
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

About you

• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery)
• Experience as a Chef in a Thai Restaurant
• Relevant work experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Experience with Stir Fries/Wok Cooking
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene standards, and cost management
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
