The City of Kalamunda is a local authority with a population of 60,000 located approximately a 35 minute drive from the Perth CBD providing the opportunity to work in a varied planning environment, from rural natural bushland to highly developed residential, commercial and industrial areas.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• Friendly and approachable.
• Confident speaking to members of the public and able to provide advice and information in person, over the phone, or in writing.
• Dedicated to excellence in customer service, be a team player, eager to learn new skills, and highly adaptable.
• Proficient working with information systems and Microsoft Office.

Key duties:

• Providing high levels of customer service by assisting with customer enquiries and through efficient and effective performance of duties. 
• Fostering positive communication processes throughout the organisation and to external customers. 
• Providing accurate high-quality information to customers in person, by phone, post and electronically. 
• Providing clerical support – processing various applications for City of Kalamunda business units. 
• Processing and receipting monies directly from the public and via mail remittance ie: cash, cheque, credit and debit cards.

About the Benefits

This position offers a Level 4 salary, being $50.11 – $53.40 per hour (incl casual loading) plus superannuation.
